Richard is the founder of RK Life Strategies Inc. He has lived in the Niagara Region since coming to Brock University in 1985. Richard earned an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 1990.  He worked at Family & Children’s Services for 6 years.  He began his career in the Financial Services Industry in 1996 when he was contracted by London Life. 

Richards’ passion for helping his clients and for his community involvement was recognized in April 2006, when he was the recipient of a Top 40 Under 40 Award in the Niagara Region by The Niagara Business Link.  He has also received annual recognition for his services to his clients on a national level.   Richard has been a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) since 2005 which recognizes the top financial advisors worldwide.

Andrea Penner is our Office Manager.   She joined the practice January 2010.
Andrea has over 20 years' experience in the financial services industry.  Her interest was first peaked in high school after completing two co-op work terms within the financial services industry.  She formally began her career in financial services in 2000 where she quickly worked her way up through various Customer Service roles.  Andrea has over her career worked for Royal Bank, Manulife Bank, Canadian Tire Financial Services, Canadian Tire Bank and recently London Life / Freedom 55 Financial.  

Andrea lives in the Niagara Region with her husband Mark and their children Jeff and Gill.  She enjoys traveling with her family, volunteering, and most of all a good deal during a retail therapy session!

Joining the practice in the fall of 2020, Jessica brings with her over 20 years of experience in the customer service industry. After receiving her B.A. from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2008, Jessica began her career in retail management.  She made the transition to  administrative operations in order to transform her skills to unlock new and exciting opportunities. RK Life is the perfect fit!  She has been a wonderful addition to the Team that makes our clients feel welcome every day! 

Jessica and her family live in the Niagara region on the corner of the family farm.  She, her husband Bob, and children Casey and Izzy love animals and have a house full of pets.  As the co-chair of the school council, Jessica is an active volunteer in the school community, helping to create great experiences both for the students and their families.  She is a proud – and very loud! – cheer mom, rowing mom, and fire wife.

Kelly is very excited to join the RK Life Strategies Inc Team.

Kelly graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science degree. After starting her career as a cardiovascular technician, she transitioned into the financial services industry in 2006. Motivated by her passion for finance, Kelly completed her LLQP and obtained her life insurance license in 2007.

Over the course of 18 years in the industry, Kelly has held key roles, including Case Coordinator and Office Manager. Through these positions, she has developed a deep understanding of the day-to-day operations of an advisor’s practice, including sales, practice management, and practice development. Her extensive experience allows her to manage client relationships effectively and assist with business growth strategies. Known for her exceptional organizational skills and positive demeanor, Kelly ensures that every interaction is handled promptly and professionally. 

Kelly resides in the Niagara Region with her husband, Jordan, and their sons, Lincoln and Coen. She enjoys spending time at the cottage with family and friends and can be found most weekend at the ball diamond with her family.
